Four years ago, Mark Kislowski had the rug pulled out from under him. racing automotive car dealerships
Just when he was starting to carve out a nice, comfortable spot for himself in the sportsman division at both Albany-Saratoga and Fonda speedways, the rules changed. racing automotive car dealerships
Albany-Saratoga announced it was going to change its surface from dirt to asphalt, and Fonda said it was eliminating the open sportsman division to concentrate on the less expensive 602 crate motors. automotive racing car dealerships

In terms of equipment, it wasn’t really a big jump, but in terms of experience, it was huge. automotive racing car dealerships
This is only Kislowski’s seventh full season of racing, and each week during the last three years, he was going up with drivers with tons more track time. automotive car dealerships

Mark Kislowski Claims His First Modified Career Win at Albany Saratoga Speedway

Malta, NY — The past two outings at Albany Saratoga Speedway produced a second and third place run for Modified driver Mark Kislowski. Only one way to go now and Kislowski did just that — picking up his first career Modified win. And better yet — he did it on a night when his sponsor, Morris Auto Group, was sponsoring the 35-lap event. automotive racing car dealerships

As in past weeks, Kislowski was fast out of the trailer tonight winning the first of three qualifying events. He had a great view for the start of the feature event sitting on the front row. Kislowski went right into the race lead and never looked back despite 12 time point champion, Kenny Tremont, being all over the backend of his racecar . automotive racing car dealerships

Kislowski has a handful of wins in the Sportsman division but this was his first in the premier division. Unfortunately due to a caution plagued night and the speedways curfew victory lane celebrations didn’t happen on the race surface because of the time constraints. racing car dealerships automotive

Saturday night it was the Morris Group modified of Mark Kislowski that led the field to the checkered flag for his first career modified victory at the Track of Champions. racing car dealerships automotive

The veteran driver out of Ballston Lake grabbed the lead away from Elmo Reckner six laps into the 30-lap main event and was never seriously challenged as the race went caution free. automotive racing car dealerships

Also picking up victories Saturday night were David Constantino (sportsman), Ivan Joslin (pro stock), Reuben Kennedy Jr. (street stock) and Ken Hollenbeck and Shaun Rybas won the single and dual cam 4-cylinder features, respectively. racing automotive

Strong Finishes the Key for Kislowski as of Late

BALLSTON LAKE, NY – Mark Kislowski has had his fair share of ups and downs to open the first half of the 2011 racing season. As of late though things seem be coming together and heading in the right direction at both his weekly stomping grounds the Fonda Speedway and the Utica-Rome Speedway. automotive car dealerships

The biggest story so far from the 2011 racing season has been Mother Nature. At the Fonda Speedway racing action has fallen to rain five times including one feature that will be made up at a later date on August 10. Points Conclude at Fonda, Only a Few Weeks Left at Utica-Rome

BALLSTON LAKE, NY – The official point season has concluded at the Fonda Speedway and in his first year of big-block Modified competition Mark Kislowski finished the year in the top 15 in points. racing automotive car dealerships

Kislowski, piloting his usually number three Teo Pro car, secured an 11th and 13th place finish in the final night of competition at the Night of Features at the Fonda Speedway to earn his 13th place point finish. racing automotive car dealerships

He’ll use this potent combination in weekly action once again at the Fonda Speedway on Saturday nights and then he’ll trek westbound on the Thruway for weekly competition at the Utica-Rome Speedway in Vernon, N.Y. Kislowski Making Big Step in 2010, New Website Launched

BALLSTON LAKE, N.Y. – Long-time Sportsman driver, Mark Kislowski is ready to take the next step in his racing career. The 41-year-old pilot is moving to the Big-Block Modified ranks for the 2010 racing season.

Plans call for Kislowski to step behind the wheel of Ed Monger’s No. 93 Modified for weekly competition at Fonda Speedway. It is a change from years past when he competed in his own ride. racing automotive car dealerships

Kislowski Honored at Utica-Rome and Fonda Speedway Banquets

BALLSTON LAKE, NY (11/22/10) – Mark Kislowski officially ended his 2010 season as he made his first ever visit to the Five Mile Point Speedway for the Southern Tier 100. Unfortunately for Kislowski, a heat race incident sidelined his efforts for the night. It wasn’t the ending of the season he was looking. All in all Kislowski had a respectable 2010 racing season consider it was his first full season of action in the highly competitive Modified division at both Fonda Speedway and Utica-Rome Speedway.
