BALLSTON LAKE, N.Y. – Mark Kislowski is quickly adjusting to the Modified ranks in 2010 as the former Sportsman feature winner getting better week in and week out behind the wheel of his Teo Pro Car.
Other than trying to beat the raindrops, so far the most difficult part of Kislowski’s rise to the top Northeast Modified division is racing against the likes of Bobby Varin, Matt Delorenzo, and a host of other experienced Modified drivers on a weekly basis. The level of competition has increased tremendously.
“The hardest part about the transition is definitely the level of competition,” stated Kislowski. “There are a lot of great drivers in the Sportsman ranks but when you make the jump to Modified it takes this it to another level.”

Kislowski is adding a new track to the schedule for the 2012 racing season as he’ll be competing close to home on Friday night’s at the Albany-Saratoga Speedway. Formally a Sportsman campaigner at the speedway, Kislowski is anxious about a return to the 3/10th mile oval.
Another change for 2012 is his Sunday night schedule. Kislowski will not be a weekly fixture at the Utica-Rome Speedway as he’ll concentrate his efforts on Friday and Saturday nights. He will however, make several visits to Gene Cole’s oval for the higher paying events along with other select shows.

BALLSTON LAKE, NY – The 2011 racing season is complete for the Morris Auto Group No. 3 car driven by Mark Kislowski. The second year Modified campaigner continued to learn the ropes in the Modified division while having a solid season at both Fonda Speedway and Utica-Rome Speedway.
Kislowski’s Saturday night stomping ground of Fonda Speedway was his most successful venture throughout the 2011 season. Kislowski scored two second place finishes during the season which was good enough to place him inside the top five in points at the final tally. His good friend, Ronnie Johnson, was the 2011 champion at the Montgomery County oval.
